Our Mission

PALs was created to minister to the developmental and spiritual needs of adults with developmental disabilities. Our desire is to abundantly enrich their quality of life through the unsurpassable love and power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ working in and through us.

Our faith-based program will focus on person-centered planning in five key areas of growth and development to include biblical instruction (including worship music and arts & crafts); life skills reinforcement; vocational exploration; physical fitness; and recreation & leisure.

Our participants will be paired with trained personnel who provide compassionate care and support as we strive along with them to help them reach their goals and enrich their quality of life.

The program will provide them with opportunities to develop new skills, and to reinforce and “showcase” their existing strengths and talents.  We will provide a diversity of physical fitness, recreation and leisure activities so that our participants have plenty of opportunities to not only engage in their favorite exercises, hobbies and activities but to pursue new areas of interest as well.

Developing vocational skills is a critical aspect of our program. Our on-site retail store offers participants a chance to gain practical, retail-related experience in a stress-free environment!
